AHA is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to help decrease HIV infection among Africans living in Minnesota by providing HIV/AIDS/STD and Hepatitis A, B and C prevention education and promoting the ABC rules ( Abstinence, Be faithful, regular use of Condom).
Encouraging African population to get tested for HIV, Hepatitis C.
Encourage Africans to get vaccines for Hepatitis A & B.
Providing counseling, testing and referrals.
Offering culturally appropriate education so that program participants will use information when making lifestyle decisions.

African Health Action (AHA) Corporation is a 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide consistent, reliable and culturally adapted HIV/AIDS/STD/Hepatitis prevention education to African Communities, especially those living in Minnesota
Goals:
AHA Goal is to:
Provide HIV/AIDS/ Hepatitis prevention education to Africans especially adults who are at high risk.
- Encourage Church Leaders to provide Hepatitis C Education thru their health Ministry.
- Encourage people to get tested for HIV and Hepatitis C.
- Encourage the communities they work with to:
o Disperse the fear of speaking about HIV/AIDS.
o Break the stigma associated with being HIV positive.
- Promote the ABC rule ( Abstinence, Be faithful, Condoms use).
- Get tested.
- Provide free Counseling, Testing and Referral.
