To Supply that “extra pair of helping hands” that can make the community or the client more comfortable during Prevention programs.

The African Community Leader Meeting

The African Health Action Corporation (AHA) recently initiated a program called the African Community Leader Meeting (ACLM).  The purpose of this project is to allow the African Leaders to briefly debate periodically some core health related issues (HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, and other STDs) affecting the community.

The African Community Leader Meeting is widely open to everyone and is scheduled the last Thursday of every month between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at AHA’s office in Minneapolis. During the meeting, AHA has the opportunity to evaluate the work done in the community they serve whereas the leaders have the opportunities to provide new idea on way to better access and serve the community.

Registrations are made at least two weeks prior the meeting by contacting African Health Action Corp..

We connect. By convening the world’s largest meetings on HIV/AIDS, IAS provides critical platforms for presenting new research, sharing best practice and advancing the fight against HIV/AIDS.

We promote. By promoting dialogue, education and networking, AHA helps close gaps in knowledge and expertise at every level of the response.

We mobilize. By providing support services to our members, we help them do what they do best, advancing the state of the art and expanding access to HIV prevention, treatment and impact mitigation.
